Do I need Delivery to use Own Auth?
No. Own Auth is a standalone library. Plug in any email provider: Resend, Postmark, SES, or whatever you use. Delivery is purely optional.
What happens when I hit the free tier limit?
Sending stops. Emails are rejected with a QUOTA_EXCEEDED error. They’re not queued or delayed. The limit resets at the start of the next month.
Is there a per-user or per-seat charge?
No. Pricing is based on email volume only. You can have 10 users or 10 million, and the plan price doesn’t change.
Can I switch plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle, and you keep your quota until then.
What counts as an email?
Every email Delivery sends on your behalf: magic links, verification codes, password resets, and org invites. Platform emails from Own Auth to you (like usage alerts) don’t count.
Do you offer annual billing?
Not yet. All plans are billed monthly.
