Configuration
Configure the selected app's sender, auth-link destinations, and daily send limit.
App Settings
Open App Settings and select an app. Changes apply only to that app.
| Setting | What It Controls |
|---|---|
| App name | The name shown in the app switcher and email templates. |
| From name | The sender name shown in managed auth emails. |
| Reply-to email | The address that receives replies. |
| Link mode | Selects My URLs or Own Auth hosted links. |
| Allowed URLs | Required in My URLs mode. Auth emails are rejected unless their destination matches a configured website root or app scheme. |
| Destination URL | The website or app opened by a hosted auth link. |
| Fallback URL | An optional store or download page for app-scheme destinations. |
| Daily send limit | The maximum emails the app can send each day. |
Email Sender
Managed emails are sent from no-reply@auth.own-auth.com. Set the from name shown beside that address and an optional reply-to email for responses.
Link Mode
| Mode | What The Email Uses |
|---|---|
| My URLs | The website or app URL created by the Own Auth instance. |
| Own Auth hosted | A go.own-auth.com link that continues to the saved destination URL. |
My URLs requires at least one Allowed URL. Magic links, verification links, reset links, and invites are rejected unless their destination matches a configured HTTPS website root, localhost development URL, or app scheme. Hosted mode is explained in Hosted Links.
Daily Send Limit
The daily send limit applies per app. Delivery rejects new requests after the app reaches its limit and starts a fresh count the next day.
